Ayesha Takia is best remembered as the Complain Girl who grew up to be Meera in Dor. Ayesha Takia was born on 10th April, 1986 in Mumbai. Her father Nishit is a Gujrathi while her mother Faridah is an Anglo-Indian Muslim. She has a younger sister called Natasha. She studied at the Anthony's High School but did not pursue her education any further as she started her career in show business when she was as young as fifteen.
